We really enjoyed working on this amazing barn style extension, for some really lovely clients. Possibly one of the most impressive rooms we have ever been a part of, the final result was simply breathtaking.
The brief was to design a modern kitchen with traditional hints to fill this impressive space, with the kitchen needing to work with and highlight the beautiful natural oak beams and stunning vaulted ceiling.

Proportion and lighting were both crucial elements in this design so we opted for 2 banks of bespoke tall cabinetry, sitting perfectly underneath the horizontal oak beams and we used LED strips to showcase the beams further.
We purposely decided to leave the sink run wall clear of any high level cabinetry to really accentuate the angles of the room, and a couple of well placed wall lights works perfectly for the overall room aesthetic.
All of the cabinetry features highly bespoke internals, including a huge amount of practical drawer storage (bespoke inserts for everything from cutlery, utensils and spices), plus we had various chunky oak beams we had to design and build our cabinets around to utilise every last inch of space.
The huge island is packed full of more drawer storage, a seamless flush-fitted Bora hob, open feature bookcase to break up the design as you enter from the hallway, and a highly bespoke Spekva white oak raised breakfast bar – designed to appear almost hovering with no worktop support.
We also completed a matching utility and boot room for this incredible renovation and extension project that we thoroughly enjoyed working on for lovely clients!
