Situated in a lovely big L shape open plan room, we worked closely with the client on various different designs and layouts to ensure we found the best option that worked for the whole room, in relation to the living and dining areas.

The design centres around a large bespoke false mantle design, and we used 2 tall oven housings to create the hob nook (complete with a handy matching quartz hob shelf) with a stunning bespoke hand-silvered antique mirrored splashback, with integrated canopy extractor hood built into the overhead mantle boxing, above the large induction hob.
The freestanding Fisher & Paykel fridges (1x large french door fridge freezer and 1x large wine cooler) are ideally located to the left of the cooking zone, with ample worktop preparing space around the hob and on the large island, which we kept completely clear.
The room features 3 large crittal style windows, so the natural position for the double butler sink was under the centre window. We changed the original architects plans slightly and designed the worktop to seemlessly run into each of the 3 window sills, so the window openings were dropped and heights increased giving a much larger usable worktop space, plus creating a really nice flush detail.
2x full sized dishwashers either side of the sink, along with the Quooker Classic Fusion tap (our personal favourite) and InSinkErator waste disposal provide all the mod cons for this highly practical scullery zone of the kitchen, whilst keeping everything neat and tidy behind closed doors. We put the integrated bin in the side of the island, giving immediate access when either at the sink or working at the island.
